    Common Features:

    Hold:

    During a call, press the “Hold” soft key.

    Retrieving Call On Hold: Press the “Resume” soft key

    Tip: If multiple calls are on hold on a single line, use the arrow keys to switch between them, then tap the Resume soft key to retrieve the desired call.

    Transfer:

    • During a call, press the “Transfer” soft key
    • Dial the desired phone number or extension number
    • Press the “BLIND” soft key again
    • The call is automatically transferred

    Park:

    During a call, press line key PARK 1, and the call is held, allowing you to let the other party know a call is parked.

    Retrieve Parked Call: Pick up the Phone Receiver, press PARK 1, and party is transferred to your device.

    Common Features:

    Hold:

    • During a call, press the center soft key.

    Retrieving Call On Hold: 

    • Press the center soft key again.

    Transfer:

    • During a call, select Options > Transfer
    • Enter a number or select a contact from a directory or the recent calls list
    • Select "Call"
    • When ready to transfer, select Options > Transfer again to complete the transfer

    Blind Transfer: Blind transferring a call sends the call to another contact without your speaking to the contact first.

    • During a call, select Options > Blind Transfer
    • Enter a number or select a contact from a directory or the recent calls list.
    • Select Transfer 

    The phone transfers the call when the contact answers the call.

    Park:

    The Park keys are the “Green L1 - L4” keys.

    • To place a call in Park, press L1.
      • Once the call is put in Parking spot 1, the key will turn “Red”

    To Resume a Parked Call:

    • To retrieve the parked call, press the “Red” L button where you parked the call.

  • Factory Reset

    To reset a Polycom device:

    Complete one of the three options for resetting a Polycom device:

    To perform a factory reset without an admin password from the Basic Menu:

    1. Step 1: Select Settings from the Main Menu and navigate to Basic.
    2. Step 2: Select Reset to Factory.

    To perform a factory reset from the Advanced Menu:

    1. Step 1: Select Settings from the Main Menu and navigate to Advanced.
    2. Step 2: Enter the phone's admin password — 456 by default unless changed.
    3. Step 3: Select Admin Settings.
    4. Step 4: Select Reset to Factory.

    or, if your phone's password has been reset and forgotten,

    Factory Reset During a Phone Restart

    If you have changed and forgotten your admin password, you will need to find out the phone's MAC address before proceeding with the factory reset. You can find the MAC address by doing one of the following:

    1. Step 1: Look for a sticker on the phone's bottom. The MAC address is a 12-digit hexadecimal number just above the bar code.
    2. Step 2: If the sticker is missing or faded, access the Main Menu screen and select Settings>Status>Platform>Phone.
      - Write down the 12-digit hexadecimal number in the S/N: or Mac: field.
    3. Step 3: Restart the phone as explained above and press the Cancel Softkey to stop the reboot process.
      - A "countdown autoboot" screen will display. Ignore the options here and instead...
    4. Step 4: Press and hold the 1, 3, and 5 keys simultaneously on the dial pad.
      - Release the keys once an admin password prompt appears.
    5. Step 5: On the dial pad, enter 456 for the admin password or...
      - If you have changed and forgotten the admin password, enter the MAC Address using capital letters (but before doing so, contact us or your phone system administrator to see if we or they have a record of the current admin password!)
      - Pay attention to the difference between entering digits, capital letters, or lowercase letters. To switch between letters and digits, press the input modifier softkey. It initially appears as 1->Aa, indicating you are entering digits. When entering capital letters, it displays as A->a1.
      - Each numeric key on the dial pad has three letters. Press it once to enter the first letter, twice (without pausing) for the second letter, and three times for the third.
      - As you type, pause briefly between each character.
      - For security, the characters you enter are shown only as an asterisk symbol (*). 
      - If you make a mistake, press the Left Arrow key to delete the last character.
    6. Step 6: Select the OK softkey.

    After the factory reset process is done, the admin password will become the default 456.
