Settings Are Moving: What You Need to Know

We're updating how settings are organized in your account to make them easier to find and manage—now and in the future.

What's Changing

We're moving settings from the legacy Settings tab into a new, improved Settings experience(accessible from the gear icon in the top-right corner). 

This update is part of a larger effort to create a more intuitive home page and navigation experience. 

Here's what to expect:

  • Settings will be reorganized into clearer sections
  • Navigation will be more streamlined and easier to use
  • The legacy Settings tab on the Home page will be removed
    • Your functionality and configurations remain exactly the same.

      • ✅ Your current settings and saved values will not change
      • ✅ All features will continue to work as they do today
      • ✅ No action is required on your part

      Think of this as a "reorganization," not a change in how things work.

    • Here's a quick guide to help you find things in their new locations:
      • Now located in: Practice Info (within new Settings)

      • Your communication-related settings are now grouped into two sections: 

        Managed Communications

        Includes: 

        • Appointment Confirmations (temporary location)
        • Direct Mail Settings
        • Email Settings
        • Phone & SMS Settings
        • Custom Merge fields

        Note: Appointment Confirmations will eventually move to the Campaigns experience.

        Patient Connect

        Includes:

        • Patient Connect Portal
        • Patient Contact Information 
        • Patient Enrollment 
        • Referral Messages
        • Patient Feedback

      • New location: Patient Payments & Billing 

        • Combines previous Payment and Connected Accounts settings

      • New location: Account Management

        • Combines and expands on previous account-related settings
        • Includes:
          • User Management
          • User Report
          • Text Message Registration
          •  Phone Number Verification

      • A small number of outdated or unsupported features are being retired:
        • Legacy App Widget
          • Replaced by a new Appointment Request Widget in Scheduling Settings 
        • Facebook Apps (Appointment Requests & Reviews)
          • No longer supported and previously turned off
    • This update is the first step toward a more modern, streamlines experience across the platform. 

      By reorganizing settings now, we're making it easier to:

      • Find what you need faster
      • Manage communications more efficiently 
      • Support upcoming improvements (like new Campaigns experience)
