Beginning in December 2021, some RevenueWell users have reported concerns regarding their data sync repeatedly freezing. The RevenueWell team is working hard to determine the root cause that is triggering these frozen data syncs and resolve.
In the meantime, we have noticed one common denominator appears to be in the antivirus used by our customers.
When exceptions are added to the antivirus, the frozen sync concerns appear to be alleviated. Please work with your IT Consultant to consider adding the following exceptions to the antivirus or firewall softwares used by your office:
The exceptions are the following folders:
- C:\Program Files (x86)\RevenueWell\*
We also recommend that you add the PMS installation folder that corresponds to the system used by your office to the exceptions:
- Eaglesoft Installation (typically C:\Eaglesoft\*)
- Dentrix Installation (typically C:\Program Files (x86)\Dentrix\* & C:\Dentrix\*)
- Open Dental Installation (typically C:\mysql\data\* & C:\Program Files (x86)\Open Dental\*)
