The RevenueWell On the Go mobile app gives dental practices the flexibility to stay connected and manage daily tasks from anywhere. Whether you’re moving between operatories or away from the front desk, the app provides access to key tools from the Marketing Platform directly on your smartphone.

Patients
To view your full patient directory, select Patients from the main menu. From there, you can quickly search for and select a patient to open their profile.
What You’ll Find in a Patient Profile
Each patient profile brings all key information together in one place, so you can easily stay organized and informed. Within a profile, you’ll find:
- General patient information and contact details
- Appointment history for a complete view of past and upcoming visits
- Billing and insurance details to manage financial information
- Alerts and important notes to stay aware of anything that needs attention
You can also reach out to patients directly from their profile using Messenger or Phone, making communication quick and convenient.

Phone
The On the Go app allows your team to make and receive calls, check voicemails, and view call history—all from your mobile device. When placing a call, your practice phone number will appear as the caller ID.
Accessing Phone Features
You can access phone features in two ways:
- Tap Phone from the dashboard
- Tap the Phone icon from the bottom menu
From here, you can:
- Make and receive calls
- View call history
- Check voicemails
Requirements for Calling
To use calling features in the app, you’ll need:
- A RevenueWell Phone subscription
- A user set up in your phone system (PBX)
- A softphone device assigned to that user
- A phone number linked to the user
Disable calling and phone functionality by turning off the Phone Active toggle on the Phone menu.
Receiving Calls
You can receive calls no matter how you’re using your phone. Here’s what to expect:
- In the app: A full-screen incoming call screen appears
- On the lock screen: A full-screen call screen appears, similar to a regular phone call
- On the home screen: A notification banner appears—tap it to answer
Call Options
- Answer to take the call
- Reject to decline
During a Call
You’ll have access to the following controls:
- Mute: Turn your microphone on or off
- Keypad: Enter numbers during the call
- Speaker: Switch between the earpiece and the speaker
- Hold: Pause the call (the caller hears hold music)
- Transfer: Transfer the call to another number
After a Call Ends
- You’ll automatically return to the app
- No additional steps are needed
- If the app was closed before the call, it will remain open afterward

Call History
The Call History feature lets you view a record of all recent calls, including incoming, outgoing, and missed calls.
Accessing Call History
You can open Call History in two ways:
- Tap Call History from the dashboard
- Open the Phone section and select Call History from the menu
Viewing Calls
- Calls are displayed in a list of your most recent activity
- As you scroll, more calls load automatically
Calling Back a Patient
- Tap any call in the list to place a call to that number
- The app will open the standard calling screen to initiate the call

Voicemail
The Voicemail feature lets you view, listen to, and manage messages left by patients all from your mobile device.
Accessing Voicemail
You can open Voicemail in two ways:
- Tap Voicemail from the dashboard
- Open the Phone section and select Voicemail from the menu
Viewing Messages
- Voicemails appear in a scrollable list
- Each message shows:
- Patient or phone number
- Date received
- Message length
Managing Voicemails
Tap a message to open it and access available actions:
- Play or pause the message
- Switch to speaker for audio playback
- Call back the patient

Messages
The Messages feature allows you to communicate with patients directly from the On the Go app, making it easy to stay connected from anywhere.
Accessing Messages
- Tap the Messages icon from the homepage
- Access it from the lower-left corner on any screen
The Patient Inbox shows your full message history and helps you keep track of all conversations.
Message Views
Within Messages, you can quickly navigate between:
- All messages (Patient Inbox)
- Unread messages
- Saved messages
- New patient messages
- Archived messages
Sending Messages
Within a conversation, you can:
- Use message templates for faster replies
- Share quick links
- Send messages with emojis
Starting a New Conversation
- Tap the + button
- Search for and select a patient
- Send your message to begin the conversation
Notifications
Message notifications will show up:
- In the app
- On the home screen
- On the lock screen
To stay up to date on new messages, make sure notifications are enabled on your device. If notifications are turned off, you can update your settings to start receiving alerts for new messages.

Insights
The On the Go app includes Insights to track your practice’s performance and key metrics on your mobile device.
Accessing Insights
- Tap the Insights button from the dashboard
- Select a report from the side menu to view details
You’ll have access to the same reports available in the Marketing Platform, making it easy to monitor results, review trends, and stay informed wherever you are.

Appointments
The On the Go app makes it easy to view and manage your schedule right from your smartphone. You can quickly access upcoming appointments, connect with patients, and even create new appointments on the go.
Accessing Appointments
- Tap Appointments from the dashboard
- The app automatically loads your schedule and scrolls to today’s date
- Appointments are grouped by day
- Scroll up or down to view past or future dates
Viewing Appointment Details
Each appointment includes key information at a glance:
- Patient name
- Appointment time
- Phone number
- Provider
- Operatory (room or chair)
Taking Action on Appointments
From each appointment, you can:
- Confirm the appointment
- Call the patient (if a phone number is available)
- Text the patient (opens your Messenger conversation)
Calling Patients
- Starts a call using your practice phone number
- Requires your phone system to be set up in the app
Texting Patients
- Opens the conversation in Messenger
- Ready for you to send a message right away
Appointment Alerts
You may see alerts on appointments to highlight important details:
- Not on Recall: No recall date has been provided
- Balance Due: The patient has an outstanding balance
- Missing Phone Number: A phone number is not available
Navigating Your Schedule
You can view your schedule in a few different ways:
- Scroll: Browse through dates by scrolling
- Week View: Tap a day or swipe to move between weeks
- Month View: Expand to see the full calendar and select any date
Filters and Controls
At the top of the screen, you can:
- Switch views between week and month
- Filter appointments by provider, operatory, or patient
- Refresh your schedule to see the latest updates
Adding a New Appointment
To create a new appointment:
- Tap the + button
- Select a patient
- Enter appointment details:
- Date and time
- Appointment type
- Provider
- Operatory
- Add notes (Optional)
- Tap Save
After Saving
- The appointment is added to your schedule
- Your appointment list updates automatically
- You’ll see the new appointment on the selected date

Users
- Must have a RevenueWell Phone subscription
- Must be an active user in the PBX
- Must be assigned a softphone in the PBX to make calls
