When RevenueWell sends patients appointment confirmation texts, it prompts patients to respond with a "C" or a "P." If a patient responds with anything other than these, the "Patient responded to your text message in a way RevenueWell could not recognize" alert is generated.*
When you click "View message," a window appears that shows you what the patient responded with.
This allows you to respond to the patient however is appropriate. If, for example, the patient indicates they will be coming to their appointment, make sure to mark their appointment "confirmed." If, however, they asked a question or otherwise need assistance, text them back or give them a call from your office. You can text them back right here:
*Note: RevenueWell does recognize certain alternative responses from patients (i.e. if they say "confirm" or "yes" instead of "C"). If it is not clear what the patient means, you will receive an alert.
